Our Nicholas no longer sits in his high chair at home. He sits at the same table as John in his own red chair. He's even started to feed himself. For breakfast, he loves yogurt and toast. Well, he loves yogurt when it goes in his mouth. Sometimes, it doesn't quite reach his mouth, but it does reach his face.

Tunic
We like to dress Nicholas in the latest fashions. Everyone knows that the hottest look this season for males is the tunic. Here, we see Nicholas in a 100% cotton blue tunic with colorful accents. Actually, it's a t-shirt that my mother put on him. Maureen and I have loved that t-shirt since my mother put it on John. Nicholas wears it well. Don't you think?
Sorry for the Delay

Health Update
Poor Nicholas hasn't been feeling well over the last couple of days. He's been feverish and has had a rough time sleeping at night. He still wants "milka" at all hours of the night, but he doesn't drink it when we give it to him. Hopefully, he'll feel better this evening. He's fine during the days. It's just the night time that is tough for him.

Rumbling and Stumbling
Our Nicholas loves to toddle about. Sometimes, he gets so excited and is such a rush that he just runs into walls. He can't help it. He gets so excited to be moving freely that he just doesn't see where he's going.
Last Sunday as we were heading out the door, he took about five steps straight into the wall outside our neighbors door. It was rather comical because I could see it from a mile away, but there wasn't anything I could do about it. In any event, he just stood up and kept on his merry way.

Fun In The Sun
With temperatures reaching the 80s yesterday, Maureen took the boys out for a nice outing in the afternoon. The last couple of weekends, it's been raining, so we haven't been able to do much aside doing our regular errands. Nicholas got much needed running time on the grass and played with a little Korean boy on the putting green.
Nicholas and His Hair
Our Nicholas dislikes hair cuts as much as Our John does. It's something that's innate and I cannot explain it. I've taken them to Jerry's to watch me get a hair cut, but that doesn't make them any more comfortable. Perhaps, I should show them the movie Barbershop. If it's good enough for the Citrus Avenue Crew, then it's good enough for our little tykes.
Anywho, Nicholas had his hair cut by Constance. She was quick and tried to distract him with toys. When she pulled out the Elmo camera, I told her that she had struck paydirt. That boy loves Elmo like no other. It's one of his favorite words along with choo choo and milka to say when he wakes up at 2 AM.
When it was over, we headed across the street to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for some milk. They only had chocolate milk, so we made an exception and allowed him to enjoy it. He's very good with a straw. I'm quite impressed. It took John much longer to work out the mechanics of using a straw.
